All 14k Gold pieces are electroplated with 1micron of 14k Gold over Brass and e-coating. They go through a "hard plating" process, which allows for a better plating thickness and makes our pieces water resistant, perfect for long lasting durability for all-day wear. These pieces won't turn as long as moderate care is taken. 

Care Instructions:

14k Gold Plated is water resistant, but should be kept dry as much as possible. To keep its beautiful shine, gently wipe away excess moisture and dirt with a soft cloth after wear. We recommend removing before getting into salt water or chlorine, and before applying any lotions or perfumes to the skin.
