La Nuit des Glaces Candle - Fir

Fir smells like bringing the tree home: pine and fir up front, myrrh and cedar as it burns, then a little incense by the fire. The celadon glass has a mirror finish and silver leaf applied by hand inside, so it catches the light almost as beautifully as the scent fills the room.

A friend introduced us to Trudon, and we couldn't get over the scents. The house began as a Paris candle shop in 1643 and went on to light Versailles. Its candles are still made in Normandy, poured into hand-shaped Tuscan glass inspired by champagne buckets, with labels placed by hand.
