Inspired by the Derby
Calling all young artists. Show off your creativity in our Kids' Drawing Contest: Inspired by the Derby. The winner’s masterpiece will be printed on a special edition tea towels and mugs, with proceeds benefiting Backside Learning Center, supporting the workers and families of Churchill Downs.
How to Enter
Who can participate: Kids in 5th grade and under
What to draw: Your own Derby-inspired masterpiece. Think horses, roses, jockeys, and race-day magic.
How to create it:
• Draw on 8.5x11 white paper
• Use crayons, markers, colored pencils, or paint (no digital art)
How to submit:
• Drop off your artwork at Jones & Daughters (Lyndon or NuLu)
• Email a scanned copy to hello@jonesanddaughters.co
Deadline to enter: March 31, 2025
Winner Announced: April 5, 2025
What You’ll Win
